Built over 120 years ago, this imposing gentleman's residence has been sympathetically restored to provide elegant and luxurious accommodation for guests wanting that little bit extra.

Each of the three twin/double bedrooms offers spacious and comfortable accommodation with Posturepedic beds, colour TV, sitting area and hospitality tray. Downstairs our guests have exclusive use of the comfortable drawing room, elegantly furnished, and they are invited to dine in style in our dining room with its beautiful display of exquisite china and glassware.

The garden at Muxton is quiet and secluded, mainly laid to lawn with an abundance of vivid floral borders enclosed by mature conifers. We have recently developed an organic water garden, which attracts a variety of wildlife.

We can provide conference facilities for up to 12 delegates. Details upon request.

How to find us

On entering Muxton Lane, continue for about half a mile, round a sharp bend, past a black and white cottage until you see a large red brick wall with conifers on your left hand side. The entrance to Muxton House is on your left hand side through narrow wrought iron gates-please take care.
