Exmouth is renowned for its floral displays—visit the Manor Gardens, the sea front or just enjoy a sit on the bench in our front garden!
Whatever time of year or whatever your age, Exmouth has plenty to offer. The beach is a joy to visit and a photographer’s paradise. The 2 mile promenade stretches to Orcombe Point providing a level walk with lovely views and plenty of seats and beach cafes to take a rest. The local walking is spectacular—along the Jurassic coast, up the estuary to pretty Lympstone or intriguing Topsham, or across by the ferry or water taxi to fun-packed Dawlish Warren beach and nature reserve. Exmouth offers a wide variety of shopping, entertainment, sports, history and many lovely areas to just sit and admire views. The harbour offers fabulous boat trips up the estuary or along the coast.
The Exe estuary, below, is a 2 minute walk from New Moorings and offers a fascinating expanse of water and sandbanks that draws bird watchers, artists, photographers, ramblers, sailors and water sports enthusiasts. |
