Welcome to Newark Lodge, the only Guest House in Newark with Five Stars and a Gold Award from the English Tourist Board. Located just off the A1 and 1.5 miles from Newark Town in a quiet location with full off-street parking. Sheila and Mike offer you the Highest standards, relax in your lounge.

Breakfast is served in the splendour of the dining room overlooking the drawing room with the inglenook fireplace. Start your breakfast with fresh pink grapefruit or cereals or porridge and don't forget the fresh orange juice. This is followed by the classical English breakfast cooked to perfection with local bacon and free range eggs. Or maybe try or Eggs Royale, scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. The vegetarian option is just as tasty especially as Sheila is a vegetarian, but Mike does all the cooking as he is a chef by trade and a hotel manager by profession. Or you may fancy Scottish kippers. All this is accompanied with fresh ground coffee served in caffetiere or a vast selection of teas, herbal and caffeine free. All our breakfasts are calorie-free and come with a 5 yr warranty !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Evening meals are served across the road in our Pub The Chesters, where Jackie the manageress will look after you like Royalty and give you a discount on your food !!!!!
