Newton Hall is a 400 years old part timbered country house, on a 140 acre stock farm, set amongst some of the most picturesque scenery in Cheshire and yet only 15 minutes drive from Chester. Surrounded by large well maintained gardens providing ample, secure parking.

With views across the garden of the surrounding hills towards Besston and Peckfordton Castle, Newton Hall is a truly rural retreat. We are only one mile from Tattenhall where there is a wonderful choice of places to eat at one of three pubs. The Village Indian or the Wine Bar.

Whether you wish to relax or simply catch up with some work, Newton Hall is ideal. Fax and email facilities are also available. If you are staying on business or holiday we will provide you with an excellent friendly service and you can be sure of a peaceful, relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Accommodation

Fully renovated and furnished to a high standard, each room being individual. The bedrooms, one twin or family en-suite, one double private bathroom, are large and have comfortable easy chairs or sofas, hospitality trays and flat screen digital televisions.

A pretty guest sitting room provides a wealth of tourist information, guides, maps, magazines and books on the local attractions. The breakfast room is particularly impressive with its original oak beams and tile floors looking out onto sweeping lawns. Both freshly cooked English and Continental breakfasts are served at times to suit the needs of the guests.

Rise relaxed in the morning, and enjoy a fresh cooked farmhouse breakfast with all the trimmings. Many special requests can be catered for - late arrival by arrangement, breakfast for the early risers and special diets.

Nearby Attractions

Local attractions include Cheshire Farm Ice Cream, which is within walking distance, Architectural Antiques, Fishing, Golf and Horse Riding. We can provide stabling for 3 horses in the summer.

We are on a bus route into Chester. Drivers into Chester and use the Park and Rise, which is excellent. A visit to Chester is a must, it has everything for a wonderful day out. Visit the Cathedral, The Rows, walk the City Walls and enjoy a walk along the River Dee. Also enjoy many excellent restaurants and shops. Chester races are held on the Roodee and are a spectacular sight from the City Walls.

Newton Hall is situated 2 miles off the A41. Take the A41 from Chester towards Whitchurch and turn left for Gatesheath. Take the first left and we are third farm on the left just before the Newton crossroads.
