Welcome to Oak House Bed & Breakfast

Minutes from Newstead Abbey and Sherwood Forest, Oak House, Ravenshead, is a recently extended and refurbished spacious family house providing high quality bed and breakfast; it is within walking distance of the 15th Century 'Hutt' Inn. Southwell Minster and the city of Nottingham are only a short 20 minute drive away.

Two fully en-suite double / twin rooms are available, with hopefully all the small luxuries you can think of to make your stay a comfortable one.

Oak House is owned by sculptress Philippa Ordan. In-house sculpture classes are available as part of a longer stay holiday experience.

If you would like to explore nearby Sherwood Forest on horse back, riding treks with a reputable nearby livery stable can be arranged.

For something completely different... Llama trekking can also be arranged.

Accommodation

Bedroom One is very spacious. With a memory foam-topped mattress on the king sized bed, and top quality soft pillows to really sink into.

Tea, Coffee & Hot chocolate making facilities, Flat screen TV, Hairdryer & Radio/CD alarm.The room also has a luxury en-suite shower and wash area fitted out to the highest standard.
Full English Breakfast can be served in this room.

Bedroom Two has two full size single beds with feather mattress toppers, crisp white sheets, and top quality soft pillows.

Tea, Coffee & Hot chocolate making facilities, Flat screen TV, Hairdryer & Radio/CD alarm.This room also has a luxury en-suite shower and wash area fitted out to the highest standard.

Sitting Room
A cosy Sitting room is available downstairs just off the lobby. The room has a good selection of books if you would just like to relax and read by the fire.
A full English breakfast is served in the sitting room. We offer vegetarian alternatives where relevant.
