Oaklands has been awarded 3 stars from the Scottish Tourist Board and has a 3 diamond rating from the Automobile Association.

If you are considering visiting Scotland well this is the place to stay.

Montrose is situated in Angus (East Coast) some 50km south of Aberdeen and 30km north of Dundee.

The Guest House is situated just near the town centre of Montrose (a five minutes walk) at Rossie Island or Inchbraoch.

In and around Montrose

Montrose boasts a beautiful beach, sports centre, tennis courts, swimming pool and restaurants.

Only a footstep away from Oaklands you'll find the Scottish Wildlife Centre which compliments Montrose Basin popular with bird watches and wild fowls.

During your stay you should also visit the House of Dun, Glamis Castle and Dunnottar Castle.

We are also near Royal Deeside the magnificent Grampian Mountains, Glen Esk, Glen Clova the single Malt Whisky Trail the Castle Trail and some of the finest Golf Links in the world (Montrose, Carnoustie, Edzell, etc...).

Accommodation and Facilities

All our rooms are en suite with colour TV, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, towels, shampoo, showergel, handsoap, sweets, cookies etc...

We have two double bedrooms three twin rooms, one family room and one single room.

We have a full fire certificate. There is off street parking available and secure parking for motorcycles and bicycles.

Facilities are provided for children including cots and high chairs.

You are also able to use our TV lounge where you are able to plan your next trip in the region with a choice of maps provided.
