Friendly and welcoming reception at this Bed and Breakfast with wireless Internet access, Single, Twins and Double rooms, plus one Disabled ground floor room.
A very individual Bed and Breakfast guest house providing Budget accommodation near London Heathrow International Airport.
We now have several lovely, new upgraded Twin - plus one Double, and one Disabled, Rooms, with high class Shower Rooms and extra long beds available for our Visitors.
A great place to stay before, after or between, international flights - just 5 minutes away from Heathrow by car or Taxi.
Also an excellent base for working in the West London area. Easily accessible train, bus and motorway links are all very close by.

Two excellent & inexpensive, Indian restaurants very close by - The Palace Tandoori and the Spice Anais, beyond the opticians. The "Go Sing" Peking Restaurant serves high-class Chinese food.Inexpensive, but good, Café food is available all day long at the "Griddle Diner"; and English Fish and Chips from "the Blue Oyster" can be bought six mins away from the Guest House on foot.

Directions
Driving and public transport
We are on Excellent Motorway and public transport connections : Oakwood Lodge Guest House is extremely close to the M25, M4, M40 and M3 motorways.
Driving Instructions from M25/ M4, Junction 4, Heathrow/ Direction
To find us, take the M4 from the M25 (Junction 15) and leave the motorway very rapidly at Junction 4 (Uxbridge A408/ Heathrow).
Stay in left-hand lane and concentrate hard; take the second left at busy traffic light, roundabout complex into Cherry Lane, with left-pointing arrow towards West Drayton, in front of the Crowne Plaza Hotel and with Novotel to your left.
Cherry Lane turns into Sipson Road, continue driving & go straight at the 2 sets of traffic lights after parade of shops with "Costcutter" on left, into Station Road - past the "Fox & Pheasant" on the right. After St Martin's Vet on the left, and a black Texaco Garage on the right, you will see Oakwood Guest House, after the "Six Bells" pub to the right.
Road Instructions from M40/ Uxbridge Direction
From the M40, take Exit 1 at hectic Denham Roundabout and then the A4020 towards Uxbridge. At 2nd roundabout/ traffic light complex in Uxbridge with modern MANPOWER building in centre, take the A408 towards Heathrow, Cowley & Yiewsley - to right.
Drive through Cowley & continue along A408 a few miles - past Esso/ Tesco Express Garage on left and then various warehouses on right, until you reach traffic lights in Yiewsley, with Iceland and Aldi on right.
Continue straight, through Yiewsley, past Woolworths, HSBC Bank, etc.
Drive over the Canal bridge, and past West Drayton Station and past a Spar Supermarket on the left-hand corner, then 2 small Indian restaurants on your left. Drive past Brandville Road and the Guest House is on your left - after the silver-grey shutters, and just before the 'Six Bells' pub, and the black Texaco Garage.
When you arrive by car
We have three compact Parking Spaces available on either side of the front door, on Station Road. Secure, longer-term parking is also available behind the guest house. Turn right just before Chas Cameron Lettings, into Brandville Road; turn right immediately afterwards, into Bellclose Road & then immediately right again, into the mesh gated car park (with green garage doors ahead of you).
Please ring the Front Door Bell as you pass - or call us on 07720-074800, to have the Car Park opened up for you.
A comprehensive Bus network serves our area of Uxbridge/ West London/ Stockley Park; Bus Stops for the 350, 222, U5 and U3 Buses close to the Guest House.
U3 Bus directions from Heathrow central station
Take the U3 Bus from Stand 18 at Heathrow Central Bus Station, and pay the driver £2.00p fare, or show him an Oyster Card. (Unfortunately some bus drivers do not speak fluent English!). Get off the U3 at the G/ Ferrers Avenue Bus Stop just beyond Threshers, Wine Merchants. in Station Road, West Drayton Cross over Station Road, and walk to your right, pass the Spar Supermarket on your left, and then 2 Indian restaurants; walk over Brandville Road and the guest house is on your left - before the "Six Bells" Pub, and the black Texaco Garage. |
