Road Instructions from M25/ M4, Junction 4, Heathrow/ Direction

To find Oakwood guest house, take the M4 from M25 (Junction 15) and leave the M4 very rapidly at Junction 4 (Uxbridge A408/Heathrow) and concentrate hard!. Stay in left hand lane and filter (second) left at busy, unuser-friendly, Traffic Light complex into Cherry Lane, between the Crowne Plaza Hotel and the Novotel - with a left-pointing arrowhead towards West Drayton. Cherry Lane turns into Sipson Road, continue driving and go straight at the 2 small Traffic Lights, after a 'Costcutter' parade of shops on the left, then passing the 'Fox and Pheasant' Pub on the right, into Station Road.
After Drayton Hall and St Martin's Vet on the left, and a black Texaco Garage on the right, you will see Oakwood - after the 'Six Bells' Pub, on the right.

We have three compact Parking Spaces available on either side of the front door, on Station Road. Secure Parking is available behind the Guest House. Turn right just before Chas Cameron Lettings , into Brandville Road; turn right immediately afterwards, into Bellclose Road and then immediately right again, into the mesh-gated car park (with green garage doors ahead of you).

Finding Oakwood Guest House from M40/Uxbridge

From the M40, take Exit 1 at hectic, Denham Roundabout and then the A4020 towards Uxbridge. A 2nd roundabout/traffic light complex in Uxbridge with modern MANPOWER building in centre, take the A408/Cowley Road, towards Heathrow, Cowley & Yiewsley - to right.

Drive through Coelwy and continue along A408 a few miles - past Esso/Tesco Express Garage on left and then various warehouse on right, until you reach Traffic Lights in Yiewsley, with Iceland and Aldi on right. Continue straight, through Yiewsley, past Woolworths, HSBC Bank, etc. and over the Canal bridge and past West Drayton Station on left, and then past a Spar Supermarket on left. After 2 small Indian restaurants and then Brandville Road on the left, you will see Oakwood Guest House - just before the 'Six Bells' Pub on the left.

There are three compact Parking spaces available on either side of the guest house front door on Station Road. However, our secure, longer-term car park is behind the guest house; turn left after Charles Cameron lettings into Brandville Road, them immediately right into Bellclose Road, them immediately right again between the houses into the car park with a mesh gate (with green garage doors ahead).

We are on Excellent Motorway and public transport connections : Oakwood Lodge Guest House is extremely close to the M25, M4 and M40 motorways.

A comprehensive bus network serves our area of Uxbridge/ West London/ Stockley Park; stops for the 222, 350, U5 and U3 close to guesthouse.

Using local U3 bus from Stand 18 at Heathrow Central Bus Station, the connection will take you 12-20 minutes and cost just £ 2.00. (When arriving in West Drayton on the U3, get off the bus by the Griddle Diner Cafe in Station Road and walk to your right, towards Harmondsworth and Sipson rather than towards Yiewsley/ Uxbridge; past Spar Supermarket on your left and two small Indian restaurants. Cross over Brandville Road and Oakwood Guest House is on your left - just before the "Six Bells" pub, and the black Texaco Garage).

We are easily accessible from Terminal 5 by the 350 local bus. Get off the 350 bus at the (request) bus stop beyond St Martin's Vet - by the tiny West Drayton Library, cross over Station Road and turn left. Walk past the black Texaco Garage and the "Six Bells" Pub, and we are just beyond the pub on the left- before the silver-grey shutters.

We are 25 minutes away from London Paddington (Central London) by train, from West Drayton Station. Dependable Thames Trains service (usually leaving from Platforms 13 and 14 at Paddington) travelling towards Reading & Slough - 4 trains per hour, until late at night. Five Minute Walk to Oakwood Guest House from West Drayton Station: Turn left out of the station, walk left into Station Road, under the railway bridge, walk a few hundred yards or further, past a Spar Supermarket and then 2 Indian restaurants on your left. Walk over Brandville Road and we are on your left, just before the "Six Bells" pub, and the black Texaco Garage.
