The building, situated in the main street, was originally two houses, built in the late 18th century, and contains oak beams, dormer and bay windows and is grade II listed.

It is fully heated and each guest room has its own private bath or shower-room. With tea and coffee making facilities and radios. Residents lounge with television and separate Dining Room.


Evening meals by arrangement Coeliacs and Vegetarians catered for - Full English or Continental breakfast of your choice.

The owners, Robert and Joan Neil are happy to provide local information to help make your holiday complete. On arrival you will be offered a pot of tea. Off road parking is available if required.

Cleobury Mortimer

Despite its village charm it has 2,400 inhabitants, which accounts for a good array of shops and the selection of pubs and restaurants in the neighbourhood.

Particularly famous for a Norman Church with its leaning spire, Cleobury Mortimer is at the centre of a wide touring area.

Local amenities include golf riding, fishing on the river Severn, Safari Park, walking and a Leisure centre in nearby Stourport. Racing at Ludlow with an annual Music and Arts Festival.

The area abounds with interesting shopping for Antiques, Crafts, Furniture, Fabrics, Paintings Country Clothing, and much more.

Directions

From M5 (J6) take the Kidderminster Rd A449 and turn off left at Ombersley. Follow signs to Tenbury Wells until you reach Great Whitley after which take a right fork onto B4202 at Abberley, sign-posted Cleobury Mortimer. Follow this road, crossing the A456 at Clows Top, and finally turn left onto the A4117 which brings you into Cleobury.
