Self Catering- The Barn There is a now opportunity for self catering in our 15th century barn. Two of which have facilities for 2 Children in addition to the main bedroom. All equipped with a four poster bedroom, large bathroom, kitchenette, living room/dining area (2 with sofa beds for children). All have a flat screen TV, DVD and Free view TV. Inclusive of fuel and light and including all linen and towels.
Four Poster Suites These 4 new four poster suites are located in the 15th Century Barn Annexe about 20 metres from the main hotel.They are quiet and tranquil and have their own private garden area.
History
Built around 1570, it passed through the hands of various members of the family for the next 200 years. Its previous owners have included Thomas Gwilllim who was ADC to General Wolfe at the battle of Quebec, and John Graves Simcoe who was the first Governor General of Upper Canada and founder of the City of Toronto.
