Welcome to The Windmill in the centre of Scarborough. One of the most unique hotels in Scarborough offering quality accommodation, the windmill is over 220 years old. Angela and Roland have lovingly owned and run the Windmill for nearly 10 years.
The Windmill is less than a 5 minute walk from the Station, the Stephen Joseph Theatre and the centre of town.
The Windmill has a total of nine en-suite rooms and all the rooms are built in a traditional style and tastefully decorated.
They all either have direct access onto the courtyard or are situated on the first floor veranda.
We have two lovely apartments in the Windmill itself where you can stay on a bed and breakfast or self-catering basis. Additionally, we have a variety of rooms ranging from standard to deluxe King Size Four Poster.

Balcony Suite at the top of The Windmill
Exterior stairs lead up to this two storey Suite for two adults with outstanding 360º degree views over Scarborough. It may be windy at times and children and babies are not permitted at any time for safety reasons. The bedroom consists of a King-size double bed with en-suite shower room, hand basin and toilet.
Internal stairs will take you to the floor above where there is a compact open plan lounge/dining room with remote control 26" LCD TV with Freeview and DVD Player. The kitchen area has an electric cooker, fridge and microwave. There is electric heating throughout and electricity used is calculated from meter readings read at the beginning and end of your stay.

Windmill Family Suite
A two storey Suite for up to 2 adults and a maximum of 2 children (must be no older than 13 years). Comfortable open plan lounge with 26" LCD TV with Freeview and DVD Player as well as a dining and kitchen area. The kitchen area has an electric cooker, fridge and microwave.
Internal stairs take you to the floor above where there is a family bedroom with double bed and bunk beds for children. The en-suite bathroom consists of corner bath and hand shower, hand basin and toilet. There is gas central heating throughout and electricity/gas used is calculated from meter readings read at the beginning and end of your stay.

Bookings in the Balcony or Family Suites - minimum of two nights unless we have a one night slot between bookings. On these occasions, there is a £20.00 supplement for a one night stay.
