Welcome you to Orchard Cottage.
A big village on the border where Nottinghamshire juts into Lincolnshire some 6 miles north west of Lincoln city. Saxilby has noble views of the grey towers of Lincoln cathedral soaring majestically into the sky.
It has, too, the sight of narrow boats and cabin cruisers slowly passing by along the Foss Dyke, a watercourse built by the Romans and deepened for more ambitious traffic by the Conqueror's son Henry the First. |

A private bed and breakfast establishment with a twin en-suite first floor bedroom in the main house and a ground floor guest suite annexe with a separate personal entrance.

Saxilby is 6 miles northwest of Lincoln with regular bus, taxi and train services. Telephone, web and e-mail facilities available.
