Welcome to Orles Barn Hotel.

Orles Barn operates like a relaxed country house, run with you in mind whether its for a quiet after-work drink or a celebration of the most special day of your life. However as “the proof of the pudding is in the eating”, nothing could replace the experience of staying or dining here without stepping inside this 17th Century barn.

Eat

In a word, the best way to describe our food is fresh, local and tasty. We source from people we know and trust and often swap recipes in creating mouth-watering local dishes alongside the classic traditional ones.

Our menus change very regularly and mostly reflect the season and local suppliers but always offer delicious, homemade food.

Drink

A cup of tea in the garden, a glass of fizz in the bar or a honeyed tumbler in an armchair, Orles Barn is the place to relax, unwind and enjoy the atmosphere.

We have a well stocked bar with oak beams and a log fire, a living room in which to escape from the world and disappear into an oversized sofa or a garden from where you can appreciate the tranquility of the great outdoors and maybe a quick game of croquet.

We have a wide selection of wine and champagne and love to change the list as we discover new vineyards, come across special buys or find something we simply can’t resist. Keep an eye out for our wine tasting evenings, always good fun and you never know you might discover a stranger that becomes a friend for life.

Sleep

All rooms are well equipped with a very comfortable bed and a great breakfast in the morning. Reflecting the local area, All rooms are named after traditional varieties of apple some of which can be found in the garden and all ensure a fruitful night’s sleep.

Events

Orles Barn thrives on generating a good crowd for fantastic events.

Such events carry on throughout the year and as well as the obvious seasonal ones include off-the-wall wine tastings, Italian themed nights and our own seasonal pudding nights. Many of these are listed opposite and show the sorts of nights we’ve held as well as the ones yet to come.

Book early, come along and have a magnificent night out in the company of friends, family or anyone else that takes your fancy!

Weddings

Orles Barn is ideally placed and designed to host the wedding of your dreams. The main body dates back to the 17th Century and the south facing gardens stretch over an acre. There is a fully stocked bar, a large restaurant and comfortable sitting room; rooms which can play any role you choose to suit your needs. There is a beautiful garden with a large flat area which whilst holding a croquet lawn for the majority of the year makes an ideal location for a marquee.

With eight bedrooms the wedding party can be located on site ensuring you have accommodation before and throughout the event for any preparations or changes as required in the privacy of your own room.
