….is under the personal supervision of the proprietors, Stewart and Jill, and overlooks the park, where there are facilities for Tennis, Bowls, Putting and a Children's Playground.

The Town Centre is just a short walk away, as is the Leisure Centre, which offers Swimming, Badminton, Squash etc.

Alton Towers the world rated Leisure and Entertainment Park is a ten minute drive away.

Twenty minutes drive takes you into the Potteries, with world renowned names like Wedgewood, Spode, Moorcroft, Royal Doulton and many other pottery factories all offering factory discount shops and tours.

The Festival Park in Hanley offers Waterworld, Ten-pin Bowling, Dry Ski slopes and Multi Screen Cinema.

We are located on the border of the beautiful Staffordshire Moorlands and the Peak Discrict, with breathtaking views, walks, climbing and pony trekking etc.

Adequate car parking facilities are within the grounds of the Guest House.

All centrally heated Bedrooms are equipped with colour televisions, tea and coffee making facilities and most are en-suite.

We have four bedrooms on the ground floor.

How To Find Us

M6 From North Junction 16

A500 towards Stoke, A50 towards Uttoxeter. Exit after the tunnel: Blythe Bridge and Meir Park. Take the 2nd exit towards Blythe Bridge and then left A521 to Cheadle. Drive through Cheadle High Street until you reach the mini roundabout. Take the A522 right towards Uttoxeter. At the Bird in Hand pub turn left into Mill Road. We are situated a few hundred yards down, on the left hand side.

M6 from Junction 15

A500 towards Stoke and follow as above.

M1 from South/North

Exit A50 towards Uttoxeter, bypass Uttoxeter and take the A522 to Upper Jean and Cheadle. As you enter Cheadle you will pass the Master Potter pub on your left and the recreation ground on your right. Mill Road is situated on the right, opposite the primary school, with The Bird in Hand pub on the corner. We are just a few hundred yards down, on the left hand side.

M6 from South

Take the A518 towards Uttoxeter and follow as M1

From Alton Towers

Exit from right hand lane. At crossroads turn left towards Cheadle. At mini roundabout in Cheadle turn left towards Jean and Uttoxeter (A5522). With the Bird in the Hand pub on your left, turn left into Mill Road. We are a few yards down on the left hand side.
