Penarwyn House a large Victorian Gentleman's residence was built in the 1890s by John De Cressy Treffry (High Sheriff of Cornwall 1921) it stands in over 1 acre of mature gardens which includes a walled garden with a Victorian fernery.
The house has kept most of its period features and we are pleased to say offers the generous period size and style, with the comfort of today, full central heating and luxurious en suite bathrooms with roll top baths and separate showers.

Mike and Jan Russell look forward to giving a Cornish welcome to old friends and new guests to our new venture Penarwyn House which we are proud to say has been awarded the AA 5 red diamonds their highest award. As many will know we have been in the hotel business since 1993, taking our hotel Chy-an-Mor in Penzance to 5 Diamond standard with the AA (the first in Penzance town) gaining recognition through merit with Michelin, Which ? & Frommers Best of British B/Bs.
As always we enjoy meeting with guests both new and old making sure we are available to help with your daily plans and advise on booking trips, restaurants, and taxis.

St Blazey is the ideal centre to explore Cornwall with all its history and beauty, Eden only 1 mile away, Charlestown with its tall ships, Fowey. Mevagissey, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, the Roseland Peninsula and Lanhydrock House all within an 8 mile radius. Further afield Lands End, St Michaels Mount, Penzance and St Ives can be reached in 90 minutes, Falmouth, Newquay and Padstow within 60 minutes. Good bus and rail links mean that all can be reached without the use of your car.

From Autumn to late spring we can provide by prior arrangement a winter warmer supper, so that after a day exploring you can come back and relax for the evening.

Bringing our previous knowledge and skills to the fore, we have done our best to ensure that our rooms have all the comfort and facilities you could wish for.
All are furnished to the highest standards with a blend of antique and modern furniture, with comfortable armchairs or sofas, and beds to ensure you get a good nights rest before tackling the day. TVs radios & dvds, refreshments including fresh milk, filtered water, ice and biscuits, to help you feel at home.

Our luxury en suite bathrooms have fluffy white towels and robes, roll top baths and powerful showers, enabling you to have a refreshing shower or soak the days strains away in a bath by scented candlelight.

*Deposit:*	Provisional bookings to be confirmed by post within 3 days with a deposit to cover the first night of your stay.

*Parking:*	We have ample parking for guests

*Cancellations:*	We will do our best to re-let the room and refund the deposit less any bank charges.

*Payment:*	Credit debit cards accepted also cheques with a guarantee card that covers the amount, Sterling traveller's cheques or cash.
