Welcome to Pickwick's, a comfortable, friendly, family-run guest house in Oxford.
We are conveniently situated within five minutes drive from the Oxford ring road and the M40 motorway, and are within walking distance (1½ miles) of Oxford city centre and the University colleges.
There is a frequent bus service just on the doorstep to and from Oxford, and in addition there is a nearby coach stop for 24-hour services to central London, Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted airports.
We are also in close proximity to Oxford Brookes University, the John Radcliffe, Churchill, Warneford and Manor Hospitals, and the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre. We provide ample free car parking.
Within easy walking distance are local shops, banks, pubs, restaurants and a post office. |

How to Find Us
By car :-
From the Oxford Ring Road
Follow the Oxford Ring Road to the roundabout (Green Road) with the A40, then take the A420 into Headington (signposted Headington and Oxford City Centre).
From the A40/M40 (Junction 8)
Follow the road westbound past the Thornhill Park and Ride to the roundabout (Green Road) with the Oxford Ring Road, then go straight across and take the A420 into Headington (signposted Headington and Oxford City Centre).
Pickwick's is located at the junction of London Road with Sandfield Road.
By coach (from London, Heathrow or Gatwick) :-
Alight in Headington centre. We are about 300 metres towards Oxford on the right hand side of the road at the junction with Sandfield Road.
By train :-
Either take a taxi or a No. 280 bus from the rail station to Sandfield Road.
Alternatively, take the No. 7, 7C or 8 + 8A bus from Queen Street (opposite Marks and Spencer) to Sandfield Road.
