| Welcome to the Plum Pudding in Armitage… There aren't many pubs that can honestly say there food is all fresh and cooked on the premises from scratch but this is one thing the plum pudding can offer. The modern British menu is simple but the quality of the locally sourced produce and the skill of our team of chefs shines through. Offering a weekday menu with two courses for just £10 value for money is also top of list of priorities. ![]() Over the six years that Diane & Jit have operated the plum pudding it has received no less than eight awards praising the quality and consistency that we strive to offer, not least is recognition by the AA restaurant guide in the awarding of a rosette for the last three years. With a recent facelift and some more exciting changes to come there is constant investment into making the place comfortable and friendly. Our well stocked bar offers the latest continental lagers, real ales and cider as well as a wide selection of soft drinks and quality spirits. Our wine list is concise and well-picked from around the globe offering famous names such as cloudy bay and laurent Perrier. You can relax with a drink in our comfy bar or throughout the summer enjoy a drink or a meal in our large canal side beer garden with a heated external smoking area.
