| About Us The Queen's Head Hotel has been providing quality accommodation since our founding in 1700's as a coaching inn. Three generations of our family have been serving our guests since 1967.  The six en-suite bedrooms are located at the rear of the property situated in a recently converted stable block. We also offer off road car parking facilities and bike storage can also be arranged. |
| Location We are conveniently located just off the market place in Buxton town centre, near to many places of interest. The fabulous Opera House is 5 minutes walk, as is our main shopping street. Pooles Cavern and GoApe are 10 minutes walk away. Buxton is surrounded by the beautiful Peak District, which boasts many spectacular locations within a 20 minute drive. Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Eyam Hall, Lyme Park are amazing stately homes. The villages nearby include Bakewell, Castleton, Hartington (famous for puddings, caves and cheese respectively!) We are located 40 minutes from Manchester Airport, the M1 & M6. 60 minutes from East Midlands Airport, and only 30 minutes from Alton Towers. We're only a 10 minute walk from Buxton train station which is the direct link to Manchester. All buses to and from Buxton stop on the market place, just 1 minute from our door. |

| Hotel Our six letting bedrooms have all got en-suite facilities (including bath & shower), tea & coffee, TV and are all centrally heated. The accommodation is situated behind the pub in a recently converted stable block which allows access at any time to suit your needs. Wireless internet is available on request. |
