The Riviera's elegant façade gracing the Hoe for over 120 years, this traditional and homely guest house offers a host of excellent facilities to ensure a most comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Long-experienced proprietors Lester and Linda Wrench well understand the efficiency and convenience demanded by today's holidaymaker and business traveller and every effort is undertaken to ensure that your stay at the Riviera is memorable for all the right reasons!

This is a non smoking establishment and is arranged over 3 floors, with one elegant internal staircase leading to all our bedrooms.

The ground floor houses the informal lounge. With its friendly and homely atmosphere it makes an excellent place to meet and relax after a hard day. It is also equipped with a colour television. Just to the right of the Lounge is the breakfast area with seating for 24 people. All breakfasts are freshly cooked at the time of ordering with the emphasis on a homely atmosphere. Our WiFi network is now free to guests.

ACCOMMODATION

The accommodation is arranged over three floors, with one elegant internal staircase leading to all.

LOUNGE

The ground floor houses the lounge, with its friendly and homely atmosphere, it makes an excellent place to meet and relax after a hard day.

This room is also equipped with a colour television for general viewing.

BREAKFAST

Just to the right of the Lounge is the breakfast area with seating for 24.

All breakfasts are freshly cooked at the time of ordering and once again an emphasis is made on the homely atmosphere.

BEDROOMS

There are eleven bedrooms overall with eight being en-suite.

All come equipped with colour television and hairdryers together with tea & coffee making facilities.

RIVIERA

Built circa 1885, the Riviera retains many of its original Victorian features typical of the period.

Plymouth's historical barbican from where the Pilgrim Fathers set sail in search of the New World in 1620, is only five minutes away from the Riviera.

The Riviera is also situated in a good trading position within five minutes walk of the main shopping centre and one minute drive from the city's main France and Spain ferry port. It is also within walking distance of the Theatre Royal, and the Plymouth Pavilions, which is the major entertainment and conference venue of the city.

The National Marine Aquarium, which opened in 1998, is also close at hand.

HOW TO GET TO US!

Coming into Plymouth on the A38, follow all route signs for the City Centre then Plymouth Hoe.

If coming from the Continent, simply turn right out of the ferry port and take the second exit off the first roundabout into Citadel Road.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Bookings cancelled within two days of the arrival date, or no shows will be charged for the first night of the booking

Please note that there is no lift.

This family run establishment also offers the atmosphere and comfort of home.

As we are a totally non-smoking establishment guests who break the non-smoking law may be fined £40.00.

We are able to validate debit/credit cards, bookings made with an invalid card will be immediately cancelled.

It is the guest's responsibility to ensure that the card details are correct.
