Terry and Marje Adderley welcome you to their two hundred year old cottage situated on the A59 at the gateway to the picturesque Ribble Valley. Established as a bed & breakfast in 1984 by its present owners. Rose Cottage is ideally suited for walkers and cyclists wishing to take advantage of the area's unspoilt natural beauty. The Yorkshire Dales are also only a 20 minute drive away.

Situated midway between Preston and Clitheroe, just 4 miles north of Blackburn, yet enjoying a rural location. Rose Cottage is ideal for the business person wanting a friendly homely environment.
Connection to wireless internet for your laptop is available. There is a small internet cafe available for guests use.

Only five miles from the M6 J31, we are also an ideal overnight stop for those visiting Scotland.
Off road parking, undercover cycle lock, we also accommodate a limited number of motor bikes with undercover parking.

Walkers on the Ribble Way - We will transfer your back-packs to your next overnight stop or we will pick you up at the bridge just outside Ribchester and return you the following morning.

Cyclists - We are a short distance from the Land's End to John O Groats route at Mellor in Lancashire.

Each well equipped room has been individually furnished to provide our guests with a comfortable and relaxing visit. We also provide a fridge, trouser press and ironing facilities for guests' convenience.

During your visit to Rose Cottage, we will provide you with a hearty English breakfast freshly prepared from local produce, complete with tea or freshly ground coffee.A lighter, or vegetarian option can be provided upon request. Should you wish to eat out at one of the many fine eating establishments in the area, we will be only too happy to recommend one to you.
We offer Early Starters, a Breakfast Tray within guests' room.

Directions

Rose Cottage is situated opposite the La Scala Restaurant and the Shajan Restaurant. Turn into Showley road and into the first driveway on your left. From M6 junction 31 take A59 (sign posted to Clitheroe) for 5 miles, off road parking at the rear or at the side, from Yorkshire stay on A59 crossing traffic lights at B6245 for a further ½ mile, turn left into Showley Road.
