There is also a selection of fruits, juices, cereals and yoghurts available form the buffet table.

Early continental breakfast is available by prior arrangement.
The Restaurant
Our restaurant comprises two rooms which lead off from the bar. The first room is cosy with a beamed ceiling to seat around 20 and the second is the Ladybird Conservatory, which can seat up to 30 and has wheelchair access. We have a fine selection of world wines and serve liqueur coffees to compliment your meal.
Head chef, Matt Tippett, along with his team concentrate on providing a menu which features the best of local and seasonal ingredients.
The Bar
We are the only genuine freehouse in the area. We are therefore not 'tied' to any brewery and we can offer a genuinely different selection of real ales from local and national brewers along with a good selection of lagers and world wines.
The bar itself is an open plan area with plenty of space to enjoy a drink or a meal. The welcoming and cosy ambience is enhanced by wooden beams which originally came from the old fruit market in Plymouth and the mixture of slate and wood floors adds to its appeal.
There is a raised stage area in the bar where you can hear local bands perform different varieties of music at the weekends during the winter months.
Our bar is open 11.30 am to 11.00 pm Monday to Saturday and 12 noon to 10.30 pm Sunday.
If you like real cask ales then why not try the 'Atlantic Ale trail'? Jump on the train at Par Station and visit many pubs along this picturesque train ride.
Location
The Royal Inn is conveniently situated for Par Railway Station and the start of the branch line to Newquay. The village of Tywardreath (Daphne du Maurier's 'House on The Strand') is a short walk away and we are only 5 minutes from Par Sands, one of St Austell Bays largest beaches.
