Sedgemoor Heights offers you friendly, quiet, en-suite accommodation in a unique early Victorian town-house close to the town centre, within easy walking distance of the town centre and bus/railway stations.
The Eden Project, Heligan Gardens, the coast and a host of other attractions are within easy driving distance, and public transport links are good too.

A central location, private off-road parking, visitors own private entrance, generous home-cooked and personal service all help to make this an ideal place to stay.

Accommodation
Sedgemoor Heights accommodation is quietly situated to the rear of the main house, accessible by your own private entrance. You can choose from three comfortable rooms, all of which are en-suite; A double (The Butler's Room), twin (The Maid's Room) and a three bed family room (The Nursery) are available. All room have a television with Freeview.
All rooms have colour TV, hair-dryer, clock-radio, tea and coffee making facilities and other odds and ends that you'll find useful. Outside, guests can relax quietly our award winning courtyard. They are centrally heated and non-smoking. |
Breakfast
Excellent full English breakfast, using quality local produce, are served in the spacious dining room of the main house which overlooks the Gover Vally. We can cater for special diets - just let us know beforehand.
We are happy to offer advise and answer any questions you many have during your stay with us.
Children and babies are welcome; a travel cot and highchair are available if required. Let us know beforehand. Pets are welcome, but please discuss before you arrive. |
Tariff
We are open all year round. Our charges are £25-£35 per person per night, depending on the season, length of stay, which room you book and how many are in the party. There is a reduction for children booked in the Nursery. |

Location
The central position of Sedgemoor Heights makes it an ideal base for touring Cornwall. Attractions such as the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, St Austell Bay, Mevagissey, Charlestown Harbour are only a short drive away.

Getting Here
Sedgemoor Heights is ten minutes walk away from St. Austell town centre and rail and bus links. There is a guest car park at the front of the house for those arriving by car.
By Car from the A30
Follow the A30 to the Innis Down roundabout. Turn onto the A391, sign-posted St. Austell. Follow the A391, through Bugle and Stenaless, until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit sign-posted Carthew, the Clay Museum, B3274.
Follow the B3274. Pass the Clay Museum on the right. After approximately 2 miles you go under a viaduct, entering St Austell. Our house is approx 300 yards further along on the left. Look out for the Sedgemoor Heights sign. The house sits up high and is painted yellow.. Turn left into the drive, and walk up the steps and ring the bell by the front door.
By Car from the A390 travelling west
Follow the A390 until you reach the double roundabout with McDonald's on the left. Move into the right hand lane and turn right, following the sign to St. Austell town centre. Follow the road up hill to the next roundabout - Take the first exit left. Follow the road until the next T-junction. "Sports World" is in front of you. The road bends sharply to the left - follow the road round, passing St John's church and the car-park on the right. Sedgemoor Heights is on the right hand side about 300 yards after the sharp bend. Look out for the Sedgemoor Heights sign. The house sits up high, and is painted yellow. Turn right into the drive in front of the property.
By Car from the A390 travelling east
Follow the A390 from Truro towards St Austell. As you approach St Austell, you will go down and then up a steep hill at St Mewan (you will pass a school on your left). As you decend the other side of this hill, turn left, sign-posted Town Centre and Newquay. You will immediately meet a set of traffic lights, go straight on. At the next set of traffic lights go straight on. As the road bends sharply left, follow it round, passing a public car park on your right. Sedgemoor Heights is on the right hand side about 300 yards after the sharp bend. Look out for the Sedgemoor Heights sign. The house sits high up and is painted yellow. Turn right into the drive and go up the steps to ring the bell. |
