Exmouth is the ideal holiday resort. It is perfectly placed at the mouth of the beautiful River Exe. An unspoilt estuary full of wildlife, which extends to some of the most beautiful coastline in Britain and in particular its 2 miles of glorious sandy beaches. The start of the Jurassic coast begins at Exmouth.

Many activities are available, golf, tennis, putting, bowls and for those who enjoy water sports wind-surfing, scuba diving, sea fishing and kite surfing.

For those wishing to take their holiday at a slower pace there are many places of interest to visit including A La Ronde, country life museum and many more, and there is plenty of walking in the area.

On street parking is usually available close to the Sholton Guest House.

Exmouth is easily accessible:

By road
from the M5 motorway, a pleasant 8 mile rural drive National Express coaches run to Exeter and plenty of number 57 buses connect to Exmouth

By rail
links to both stations in Exeter make it accessible from all parts of the country. A pleasant 30 minutes ride along the exe estuary brings you to the centre of Exmouth and 5 minutes from Sholton.

By air
Exeter airport is about 8 miles from Exmouth and a regular bus service operates to and from Exmouth.

From the moment you arrive at Sholton your resident host Ann Jones will extend a warm and friendly welcome to make your stay as relaxed and comfortable as possible.

The seven well appointed bedrooms, some of which are en suite have digital television and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities.

A full English breakfast is served in the dining room and special diets are catered for.

Sholton is ideally placed being only 100 yards from the beach and harbour, the town centre is less than a five minute walk away making convenient access to the shops, bus and train station and many places of interest.

Children are welcome with reductions for the under 12's when sharing their parents room. Reduced terms for senior citizens in off peak season. Flexibility on number of nights and when a holiday can be started.
