The Silverfjord Hotel sits in the heart of the Highlands of Scotland just 10 miles south of Aviemore in the picturesque Royal Burgh of Kingussie. We are open all year round enabling you to take advantage of the huge array of activities from golfing and fishing in the summer to mountain biking and skiing in the winter.

Sleep

We have 8 Guest Bedrooms each with its own character, all of which give superb views of the surrounding scenery & hills. Five of these bedrooms are located on the middle floor including one family room, two on the top and we also have a bedroom on the ground floor ideally suited for disabled access. All our rooms are very spacious and are equipped with everything you need for an enjoyable stay including super king-size beds, soft, fluffy towels, toiletries, satellite television & individually controlled heating. The 'zip & link' beds also allow us to have a mixture of twin and double rooms which allows us to accommodate up to 17 guests with their own bed at one time. This makes The Silverfjord ideal for those golfing or shooting weekends.

Food and Drink

Our kitchen and dining room lend themselves to a satisfying eating experience in a warm, cosy atmosphere.Whether it's an enjoyable bar meal and a pint or our restaurant menu for that special occasion, you'll be sure to be leaving with a hearty smile.

We have two tempting bars situated in the The Silverfjord.
The Lounge Bar is the larger of the two bars which is host to live entertainment most weekends as well as discos, quiz nights and ‘Silly’ Parties.

Tucked behind the lounge bar, our public bar has an array of fine malts.

The Silverfjord is ideally suited to host a variety of parties from birthdays to christenings, as well as dinner parties. We also have the flexibility to accommodate corporate meetings and functions.

How To Find Us

Kingussie sits on the A9, gateway to the Highlands, and is a roughly a two hour drive from Glasgow and Edinburgh. We are 45 minutes south of Inverness and its airport. The Silverfjord is located opposite the railway station next to the Duke of Gordon Gardens which sit on the High Street.
