| Springfield Guest House is a 4 star family run bed and breakfast in one of Rothbury's most prestigious buildings. Converted into a guest house in April 2007, retaining a lot of the original features, the six rooms are all very spacious en-suite with baths and showers. We have double, twin and family rooms which can sleep up to five persons and two of the rooms are on the ground floor and wheel chair accessible. Springfield guest house is located in the centre of the village and is within 2 minutes walk of both shops and pubs. All our rooms are light and spacious and furnished to the highest standards. All rooms are en-suite and all but one room have both bath and shower. TV and tea and coffee making facilities are included and all rooms have hospitality trays. All rooms are no smoking. Guest parking is available. Secure cycle storage. |
| O U T A N D A B O U T . . . There is plenty to do and see in Rothbury including Walking, Golf, Fishing, Cycling, Tennis and Bowls, or just stroll around the village and ramble along the picturesque river Coquet. We are 10 miles and a very scenic drive from the ancient market town of Alnwick with it's medieval castle and famous gardens. The unspoilt northumbrian coast, Bamburgh Castle and Holy Island are only another 30 mins further away. |

| D I R E C T I O N S . . . Travelling North on the A1. At the north end of the Morpeth bypass bear off left onto the A697 and follow this for 5 miles then turn left onto the B6344. 5 miles along this road is Rothbury and we are on the right just as you arrive in the village. Travelling South on the A1. Turn off for Alnwick and follow signs for town centre and then Rothbury. Travel west on the B6341 crossing the A697 and continue over the moors and into Rothbury. We are on the right just as you arrive in the village. |
