Whether you are visiting Northampton for business reasons or pleasure we will be only too pleased to meet you and make you feel welcome. There are many places of interest in the country to visit and we normally have information on hand to assist with outings, theatre, etc.
Locally the open parkland to the front of the hotel was the former Northampton racecourse where racing took place as early as 1658 and continued until 1904 wen the Jockey Club decided that the course was unsafe.
Since then the parkland has been used briefly during the second World War by the British army but today provides space for numerous sporting activities including football, tennis, cricket during the summer months or even a leisurely stroll.
