Each of our 8 individually designed bedrooms come with either en-suite bath or shower and all have remote control TV, hairdryer, alarm clock as well as a hospitality tray, and many other little extras. The premier rooms also have trouser-press, DVD player and one even has a private balcony with table and chairs.

Drinks are served in our cosy lounge bar throughout the day and evening so why not drop in for a drink and a chat or if the weather permits then why not sit back and relax in our well appointed terraced garden to the rear of the hotel, where you will find a selection of table and chairs.

Breakfast in the mornings is served until 9.30 am (later by arrangement) and includes a large selection of cereals, fruit juices and yogurts as well as full English or Vegetarian breakfasts which are freshly cooked to order, along with kippers should you prefer.

Nearby Ilfracombe has something for everyone - cinema, theatre, tennis, bowls, golf, swimming, horseriding, fishing, paddling pools, and beaches; also, during the summer months, a full programme of family entertainment.

This is great walking country. The Strathmore gives you easy access to twenty miles of heritage Coast, known for its outstanding beauty. Much of this rolling shoreline with its hidden coves and wide expanses of golden sandy beaches, as well as the beautiful wilds of Exmoor and the surrounding countryside are still as described in the stories of Lorna Doone, Tarka the Otter and Westward Ho! |
