The Sussex Hotel offers its guests all the amenities associated with the larger hotels without the disadvantages - masses of other residents, noisy bars and of course, price. Sleeping accommodation is outstanding. Each of the 20 bedrooms is either twin or double and has en-suite shower and w.c., colour television, tea making facilities, silent refrigerator, a room safe, and full central heating. As there are no family rooms, the hotel cannot cater for children; our guests tend to be in the forty plus age groups. Excellent food, beautifully served, with ample portions and a choice of menu. Dining in the comfortable surroundings of our all two-seat table dining room ensures your privacy. Total satisfaction and your holiday happiness is our aim. Ideally situated in a secluded part towards North Shore, the hotel is minutes away from the rail station, town centre, theatres and sea front. The Sussex Hotel offers a limited amount of parking spaces, but ample street parking is available and public car parks are to be found within reasonable walking distance.
