Tarn Hows... is a traditional, elegant, slate Victorian residence built in 1864 and recently refurbished throughout. Bedrooms…Tarn Hows has four double en-suite rooms, two single en-suite rooms and two double rooms with a separate, luxurious private bathroom each. All of our bedrooms have recently been refurbished to a high standard with superior quality co-ordinated fabrics and stylish furniture. All are centrally- heated with personal controls and are equipped with colour television, clock radio, hairdryer and hospitality tray as well as complementary toiletries. Most of our rooms face the front of the property with views towards Walla Crag. Our 'superior' room has a lovely bay window where you can admire the view or sit and relax.

Breakfast… is served in our very comfortable, spacious and welcoming dining room. Guests can help themselves to a selection of starters from the side table while their choice of breakfast is being freshly prepared. At Tarn Hows we pride ourselves in catering for individual needs and source local, fresh produce such as free-range eggs and award-winning locally-made sausage. Our menu includes the popular traditional English breakfast and variants of it, as well as Continental Breakfast or Vegetarian Breakfast options.

The Guest Lounge… Guests are welcome to relax in our cosy guest lounge which is furnished with a sofa, armchairs and colour television with video player. There is a wide range of books, magazines, videos and games available.

Keswick… is a beautiful, traditional market town, set in the spectacular and yet peaceful surroundings of mountains, lakes, valleys and streams.
