The Bull offers a warm welcome to all types of visitor - both local and those from further afield.
Its close proximity to Swindon, Cirencester, Cheltenham and Gloucester, makes it ideal not only for holiday visitors and fishermen, but to businessmen who wish to get away from the standard system-built model-type of accommodation, allowing all our guests to relax in surroundings which have the charm and warmth of an ancient Cotswold Inn.
Situated along one side of Fairford's famous market square, much of the building is dated around the 15th Century when it used to be a Monk's chanting house. During recent improvements a secret tunnel was discovered leading from the hotel to the 500-year-old St Mary's Church. |
Rooms
The Hotel offers a choice of 22 bedrooms. Each room has its own particular character with sloping roofs and oak beams. For special occasions, visitors can choose between the George or Bull suites with their four poster beds or a double room with a sunken bath.
All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, a colour television, direct dial telephone, teasmade and central heating.

Fishing
The River Coln, a typical Cotswold chalk stream, has been an angling river for centuries and has been renowned for its trout since 1865. The hotel owns and maintains 1 and half miles of river bank.
The trout season extends from April 1st to 30th September, Grayling 1st October - 31st March.

The dining room offering a superb selection of dishes, all created using only the finest local produce.
Our more informal bar serves food at lunch and dinner where you can choose from our bar menu and a wide range of chef's specials, which change daily. |
Functions
The Bull Room is available for conferences, wedding receptions, trade shows or seminars. It has its own bar and dance floor and can remain totally seperate from the everyday hustle and bustle of the Hotel. We also have a smaller seminar room that is available for private dinner parties etc.
