Sally and Paul offer you a warm welcome to 'The Garden Room' Bed & Breakfast.

The Garden Room offers you quality accommodation within easy walking distance of the town centre and West Suffolk Hospital. An ideal base for exploring places of interest such as National Trust's Ickworth House and Park, Elvedon Forest and Historic Lavenham.

The spacious room has the benefit of a separate entrance to give guests the freedom.. We offer twin bed accommodation with en-suite shower room.. You are welcome to relax in our private and secluded garden and enjoy the many visiting birds and occasional wildlife.

For guests arriving by train or coach we are happy to offer a "meet and greet" service and advise on the many options local transport can offer.

The room is a spacious annexe that has adequate off-road parking and a separate entrance to allow guests the freedom to come and go as they wish. The accommodation incorporates twin beds, en-suite shower room, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, flat screen television and a small refrigerator.

You will be welcomed on arrival with tea/coffee and home made cakes which can be enjoyed in your room or in the secluded garden. A full English Breakfast using local produce where possible is served to your room or alternatively you have the choice of fresh fruit salad, cereals or yogurt. We also provide Cream Teas to order.

The picturesque market town of Bury St Edmunds is located in the heart of Suffolk and provides an ideal base to explore the many places of interest the area has to offer. Positioned on the crossroads of 3 road routes, the main one being the A14 corridor between Cambridge and Ipswich, it is easily accessible from all directions.

The Garden Room B&B is situated to the southwest of the town centre in a quiet and well established residential area. West Suffolk Hospital is a few minutes walk away and the town centre is within easy walking distance. We provide a "meet and greet" service for those arriving by train or coach. There are regular local bus routes for the town and surrounding area which are 5 minutes walk away. We are also close to Ickworth National Trust Park and Hall.

We are happy to provide you with directions to The Garden Room B&B or alternatively please telephone us when you reach Bury and we can give you directions over the telephone. For guests using the A14 we recommend you leave at The Bury East exit and follow Hospital A&E signs. This will take you past Wyevale Garden Centre on the left, take second exit on Sudbury roundabout, closely followed by 2nd exit on the next roundabout. Follow road and West Suffolk Hospital is on the left. Immediately past the hospital turn left into Hardwick Lane and at T-junction turn right into Horsecroft Road. We are located approximately 300 yard up hill on the left.
