Welcome to Beaumont House Guest House, Windermere, one of only a few Five Star Lake District Guest Accommodation properties within the Lake District National Park. Beaumont House is an elegant Victorian Stone Detached Property built in 1886 for a prominent local business man. Located in a quiet residential area close to the heart of Windermere village and a short stroll from the centre of Bowness and Lake Windermere - England's largest natural lake.

Visitors come to the Lake District because of its unique, ever-changing, landscape; the beautiful lakes, rivers, mountains, and picturesque Lakeland villages which have been the inspiration for poets, writers, and artists throughout the ages. Beaumont House is ideally situated in Windermere and we provide an excellent base from which to explore the Lake District. Whether you're looking for a quiet, relaxing break or something a little more energetic - sightseeing, walking, cycling, sailing and water sports they are all available from our doorstep!

Bedrooms

At Beaumont House we are fortunate to be able to offer three ground floor rooms; one can be made up as twin bedded room or as 6' king size bedded room, and two have 5' king size beds. These are very much in demand from some of our less mobile visitors, or those coming to recuperate after a bout of ill health, The ground floor rooms are all shower ensuite rooms.

On the first floor we have our smaller standard 4'6" double bedded ensuite room with mahogany headboard and furniture with an ensuite bathroom.

Five four poster ensuite bedrooms; four of them have traditional four posters - three in mahogany and one in white - all with matching antique style furniture.

One mahogany Empire Four Poster again with matching antique style furniture.

The Four Poster rooms have 32" flat screen colour televisions and DVD players; iron and ironing boards, two of the rooms have whirlpool baths with showers over, two with double size shower bases and one with single shower.

All our rooms are individually decorated with the emphasis on calming and relaxing colour schemes; and have colour televisions (most with flat screen TVs and DVD players) radio alarm clocks, hairdryers and complimentary toiletries. Each room also has a hospitality tray for tea and coffee. An iron and ironing board and trouser press are available on request for those rooms not already equipped with one.
