A very warm welcome awaits you at the delightful Croft Hotel, which has an enviable reputation for providing high quality accommodation at affordable prices. The Hotel dates back in parts to Tudor times, is Grade II listed, and as you would expect, is packed with period features.
The Croft is situated in High Town, within a preservation area in one of Bridgnorth's premier streets. With nearby parking, its unique position allows easy access to the High Street without the immediacy of the hustle and bustle.
To ensure that your stay will be truly memorable, the Hotel's owners and staff are dedicated to ensuring guests receive a warm welcome on their arrival, and that your visit is as enjoyable as possible.
Once a Temperance Hotel (and much smaller than in its present form), The Croft has recently been fully refurbished throughout to create a wonderful place to stay for either business or pleasure.
The refurbishment has created fourteen individually styled bedrooms, twelve having full ensuite facilities. All of the bedrooms have a colour television and direct dial/Room to Room telephone. A recent addition, which has been greatly welcomed by our Guests, has been the introduction of DVD/CD players and a personal safe within some of the rooms.
On the Ground Floor of the Hotel, you will find the sympathetically restored Guest Lounge, with its beamed ceiling, inglenook fireplace and warm and inviting décor, where during the summer months you can relax and perhaps read one of the complimentary magazines. During the winter period the centrally placed stove will keep you warm and snug whilst you relax and unwind with a good book and a hot drink. Whatever the time of year, it's a great place to plan or end your day.
The Croft Hotel's Breakfast Room is simply delightful. Once again the beamed ceiling and inglenook fireplace create a wonderful ambience to enjoy breakfast made the traditional way, using only the very best produce.
Within the grounds of the Hotel there is the wonderful detached cottage known as 'Little Croft Cottage' which is steeped in history, as it was formally the Stables for the old Bridgnorth Fire Brigade. The Cottage has been carefully renovated to create superior Guest Accommodation with one double ensuite and one twin ensuite bedroom (which can alternatively be made into a Kingsize bed), as well as its own lounge, complete with comfy sofas and colour television. The Little Croft also boasts its own patio, overlooking the Gardens.

Little Croft Holiday Cottage
at The Croft Hotel
Additional to the main hotel, is situated in close proximity, the former Town Fire Engine Stables. These have been converted to include a cottage with two non-smoking ensuite bedrooms with private lounge (where smoking is also not permitted).
The Little Croft Cottage is for the sole use of Guests staying in the Cottage, enabling you to enjoy privacy along with the advantage of a cooked breakfast in the hotel.
The private patio at the rear of the Cottage overlooks the Gardens and is perfect for sitting and relaxing with a glass of wine.
For your added comfort and privacy, please note that only Guests sleeping within Little Croft Cottage have use of the Cottage facilities. |
