The Harbour House is situated in Bidford-on-Avon near to the heart of the Shakespeare district, it is positioned just 6 miles downstream from Stratford-upon-Avon and 4 miles from Alcester. Alongside Stratford, Bidford itself shares some historical value as there is a 15th century bridge present and the Falcon Inn was built in the 16th century, two centuries later on the Harbour Guest House was constructed and today it stands in the same original structure.
The Harbour Guest House is an attractive black and white period house which was built as a working farm house; it now stands in one acre of well managed gardens. On arrival at The Harbour you can expect a warm and friendly welcome as we are delighted to greet you as our guests, during your stay at the Harbour you will be introduced into the inviting surroundings of an 18th century home. |

The house offers comfortable accommodation for all who visit; this is essentially due to its welcoming olde world charm, with beamed ceilings, log fires in winter, a paneled dining room and a myriad of beams. Our guests tell us they are reluctant to leave this pleasant and relaxing atmosphere.
One of the most comfortable traits to this home is the lounge area as we have a cozy guest TV lounge with all the olde world charm of an 18th century farmhouse that provides the idea atmosphere to relax in after a days sightseeing, before going out for the evening to the Theatre or one of the excellent pubs or restaurants nearby, that we will be very pleased to recommend.
After a night out sightseeing there is nothing better to wake up to than a hearty, wholesome breakfast. You can choose from either a full English breakfasts or a vegetarian option, there will be fresh cafeteria Coffee and a selection of Teas including herbal and fruit available. Special diets can be catered for with prior notice, all served in the paneled dining room.
Whilst we do not offer an evening meal service, we are happy to recommend local pubs, inns and restaurants all of which serve a variety of fresh food. |

This attractive suitably furnished house has three spacious bedrooms, which are approached from a paneled hall, via oak stairs to a large landing.
Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms available which are all set in the ornate olde world backdrop as the rest of the house is.
The 3 bedrooms consist of: One double room en-suite, one standard double and one twin room, the latter two rooms share a bathroom, making this the ideal family accommodation. The bedrooms suites are comfortably and traditionally furnished, full of character with beams, sloping ceilings and appropriate furniture. A tray with tea, coffee and hot chocolate is available to you in your rooms.
