There are few such examples in Britain where you can stand on the glass top and look down into the well when entering the restaurant!![]() Set in the midst of the Ridgeway path - Europe's oldest highway. The Inn with the Well has been the village local for over 300 years as well as a Coaching Inn during the 17th Century. ![]() The Inn is also a dropping off point for Horse Riders and Cyclists who are using the old Railway track or the Ridgeway. | Food & Drink You can be assured by plenty of choice from the traditional menu to a unique selection of Homemade delights as featured on the Specials Board specially prepared for you by our Chef Jason Gaughran. ![]() You may wish to dine in the Bar or Well Dining Room, which is a no smoking area. Tuesday to Friday lunchtimes we provide classical music to accompany your refreshments from Beethoven to Vivaldi! As a free house we try to bring to the discerning palate Guest Beers from the local Microbrewers to Regional Brewers, our only commitment is that the landlord will taste all Brews before unleashing them on you, our Guests Real Ales are poured straight from the barrel! The Well Dining Room can seat up to 30 people and can be hired for private parties or for meeting. High Chair and Booster seats are available. |
