Originally a 15th Century Coaching Inn, The Old White Lion Inn is situated in the centre of Winchcombe.It has been restored to the highest standards through its NEW hosts John, Julie, Jason and Trudy Hobbs who have been in the pub industry for over 30 years, retaining its unique character with its lovely Cotswold stone fireplaces and exposed oak timber which create a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Nestling in the heart of the Cotswold, Winchcombe was an important Royal Saxon Borough until the destruction of the abbey.

Today it is a perfect centre for walking or touring, with many quaint villages and towns nearby to explore, plus a variety of museums and ancient buildings including Sudeley Castle - one of England's most delightful historic houses and home at one time to King Henry VIII and Katherine Parr.

The head chef Phil is from Australia. Deciding to use a Seafood concept, utilizing the freshest fish, best quality vegetables, herbs and edible flavours to make the meal as interesting and tasty as possible.
