This hotel is ideally situated for the city centre either by use of the frequent bus service or a brisk 1 mile walk. For dining, there is a wide choice of bars, cafes and fine restaurants within a couple of minutes walk of the Hotel. Thrums is constructed from two large Georgian houses; many of the rooms retaining fine period features and are all tastefully decorated to a high standard. The hotel is located on the leafy south side of city centre near to many local amenities including the Royal Commonwealth swimming pool, University, as well as Hollyrood Park and Palace and the Edinburgh Castle . To see Edinburgh at its best it is advisable to leave the car in our large private car park. Comfortable and spacious ensuite rooms, guest's lounge, internet access and secure private car park within large rear gardens.
