Thurlestone Hotel has won many awards for its connoisseur international cuisine and service provided in the Margaret Amelia Restaurant, named after David and Graham Grose's great grandmother.
The restaurant offers a superb 4-course Table d'Hote menu that changes daily and is included in the half-board terms. Special diets and vegetarians are also catered for, all using fresh local produce. Room prices include traditional hot English breakfast.

The hotel has been owned and run by the Grose family since 1896. It's a family passion. There is also a 16th Century pub, the Village Inn, within Thurlestone Hotel's extensive grounds. The pub contains some old oak timbers, reputed to have come from a ship of the Spanish Armada, the "San Pedro" that was wrecked at Hope Cove nearby.
