The twin villages of Lynton and Lynmouth are situated on the North Devon coast and have for many years been known as "England's Little Switzerland".
As the "Jewel in the Crown" of the Exmoor National Park, the are a boasts some of the finest coastal scenery in the country. |

In its unrivalled position, the Tors Hotel is set in five acres of woodland with its own secluded paths and splendid views of Lynmouth and the sea. Under the personal supervision of your hosts, a warm welcome, friendly service and value for money are assured.
At the Tors you will find excellent accommodation and every care is taken to produce a menu of the highest standards and a choice of wine to suit every taste. The table d'hôte and menu includes local salmon and lobster when in season. |

The Tors Hotel is close to many of the famous local and moorland attractions.
Leave your car in the private car park and explore Lynmouth, the harbour and Rhenish Tower, the National Trust's Watersmeet Valley and Countisbury Hill.
There is an abundance of woodland and riverside walks for the casual and serious walker. |

The funicular cliff railway will take you to the neighbouring village of Lynton. Here you can wander the many hill top walks and see the spectacular coastal views.
Visit Hollerday Hill and the famous Valley of Rocks. Formed during the Ice Age, the Valley of Rocks has towering rock formations with names such as "The Devils Cheesewring" and its centre piece "Castle Rock", it is renowned for its resident herd of wild goats. |

Activities in the locale include fishing, putting, bowls, tennis, pony trekking and there are golf courses within easy reach.
From Lynmouth harbour there are regular boat trips along the Heritage Coast. Gently cruise past nesting Razorbills, Guillemots and Kittiwakes, watch the gulls soar by the highest sea cliffs in England.
A short car or bus trip will take you to the heart of Exmoor; Simonsbath, Exford, Dunster, Selworthy and Porlock to name but a few delightful haunts. |

And of course no visit to Exmoor would be complete without a trip to the Doone Valley, made famous by R.D. Blackmoor's novel "Lorna Doone", it is a beautiful river side walk to the remains of an ancient village.
One of the finest national parks in the country, Exmoor has a wealth of magnificent wildlife including Red Deer, Buzzards, Ravens, Foxes and the popular Exmoor Ponies.
With the purple heather crowned moorland, rolling hills and steep wooded valleys it is a walkers paradise in which you can relax with nature. |

There is ample car parking space in front of the hotel, together with a second car park on a level with the third floor, which provides easy wheelchair access to the hotel and lift. |

Swimming Pool
Our outdoor pool is heated from Easter to the end of September, weather permitting.
Snacks and beverages are served by the pool at no extra charge. |

The hotel has a lift connecting all floors. |

Dogs
Dogs are welcome on the understanding that owners will keep them under control and avoid any inconvenience to other guests. They will be responsible should their dogs cause any damage or injury.
A small charge of £5.50 per day will be made not including food. Dogs are not permitted in the restaurant or swimming pool area. |

Deposits
A deposit of £50.00 per person is required to confirm your reservation.
Cancellation would involve the loss of your deposit and under normal circumstances, cancellation within one month of the arrival date would incur a further cost of up to two thirds of the total value of the holiday booked.
It is strongly recommended that you INSURE against cancellation. An application from will be enclosed with the confirmation.
