Our accommodation and service have been awarded 4 diamonds for bed and breakfast and 4 stars for self catering by the English Tourist Council; a recognition of the high quality facilities for your use.
Uppergate Farm abounds with oak beams, flag floors and spacious, panelled rooms. Extensive safe parking is available and the farm has woodland walks, large gardens, orchards and play areas for children.
Uppergate Farm has three en-suite bedrooms for bed and breakfast, along with one, two and three bedroom self catering accommodation.
A dedicated lounge is available for bed and breakfast guests, with books, maps, videos and games. The lounge and all rooms have colour TV and tea and coffee making facilities.
...The Farm Cottages...
Grove Farm Cottage, Bray and Rosie's cottages are located in the grounds of Uppergate Farm. The two 3 bedroom cottages and the one 2 bedroom cottage are available all year round for self catering and holiday lets. They have gas central heating and stove, a well appointed garden and plentiful parking. All gas, electricity and linen are included in the price.
The Kirklees Way passes by the cottages on its route to nearby river valley and hillside trails. Maps and local guidebooks are available for guests to use.
The farm has free-range hens, cows, ducks and pets. At various times of the year we have donkeys, sheep and horses.
Visitors and children are welcome to take part in daily farm activities.
