Dogs are allowed (provided they are well behaved) and there is always a fresh bowl of drinking water for them. Enjoy the oak beams and flagstone floor that makes this a real English country pub. The real ale drinker will be able to drink from our wide range of ale. The Saloon bar As you walk into the saloon bar you will feel the atmosphere straight away with the continuation of the oak beams and new decoration making the pub more modern with brighter colours yet retaining the country pub look. There is seating for approximately 20 people and this is a smoking area. The restaurant can be found just off the saloon bar. The Restaurant Incorporated in the saloon bar is the restaurant which is a no smoking area and seats around 32 people. When you visit, provided our staff are not overrun, we will endevour to provide table service (at no extra charge) for your drinks. We normally have 3 or 4 specials available every night including fish or meat fresh that day. We try to be different by offering dishes like pheasant and rabbit to go with our near daily delivery of Sea Bass. The Patio During the summer months have a drink or a meal on the patio, sheltered from the rain and snuggled amongst the plant draped trellises. Heaters are available for the colder evenings. It's a beautiful place. The Garden During the summer months, this is the place to be. In the middle of the Surrey Hills you can get away from the noise of the city and town, and relax on our patio or in the garden and just breath in the fresh air. Accommodation We have 3 chalet style rooms to let that are situated in the garden area of the pub. The rooms have been recently decorated and have fresh bed linen, towels etc. There is one twin room, one double room, and one family room which consists of one double bed and a single bed. There is a bathroom dedicated to each room. Each bathroom has a power shower, lavatory and basin. The best description of the bathrooms is probably "off suite" as the bathrooms are literally feet from your room. As you have to take a walk to the bathrooms, ladies are advised to bring dressing gowns!
