Welcome to The Westbourne…. a beautiful, traditionally stone built Lakeland Guest House, situated in a peaceful area below the local beauty spot, "Biskey Howe View Point". All our eight en-suite bedrooms have been tastefully furnished to a very high standard each with its own style and character. For your comfort each room provides a hairdryer, radio alarm clock television and in the bathroom toiletries and fresh towels every day. There are tea and coffee making facilities in your room including hot chocolate and biscuits. Feel free to relax in the cosy lounge by the log fire on chilly winter evenings or outside in the colourful garden on a warm sunny evenings with a drink from the guest bar.

The Westbourne welcomes enquiries from disabled customers and are happy to discuss with guests any additional special requirements we may be able to accommodate. With this in mind the Westbourne now offers: - A portable induction loop which can aid hearing impaired customers A customer care pack to assist guests with limited dexterity or visual impairments. Guide dogs accepted by arrangement with the owners. We are in the process of upgrading access for visually impaired guests into The Westbourne as there are a few steps into the building.

The Westbourne is only two minutes' walk from a local beauty spot "Biskey Howe" from where you can overlook virtually all of Lake Windermere and the surrounding mountains.
