Weymouth, which is a large town that is located in Dorset in England, is located at a bay near the Wey river that is located on the coast of the English Channel. Weymouth is just 13 kilometres (about 8 miles) from Dorchester, and about 8 kilometres (about 5 miles) from the Isle of Portland - to the north. Weymouth has about 53,000 people living in it, but many other people arrive at Weymouth as tourists throughout the year.
