Set in the heart of Alnwick, the White Swan Hotel is a 300 year old coaching inn, retaining many of the features which were such a welcome sight to travellers from days gone by.
The White Swan now has 55 handsomely furnished bedrooms with private facilities, a working area, remote controlled colour television, direct dial telephone and a courtesy refreshment tray.
A Great Night in
Hardy's Bar is named after Alnwick's world famous fishing tackle company. The walls are hung with photographs, rods, flies and angling memorabilia.
In the adjoining lounge, sit back by an open fire and reflect on the day's events. The Bondgate Restaurant overlooks the cobbled streets of Alnwick and serves an imaginative and very satisfying menu.
Experience the Splendour of the Titanic
The historic Olympic Suite has all the original paneling salvaged from the White Star Line's twin sister ship the Titanic. In 1935, owner Algernon Smart, a regular passenger bought its first class lounge and rebuilt it, almost exactly as it was on Board The Olympic. You will also see the staircase, as featured prominently in the movie.
Weddings and celebrations
The Olympic Suite is licensed to hold civil wedding ceremonies and is a romantic and elegant setting for receptions and parties for up to 200. In summer, reception drinks can be served in the hotel's walled garden, a wonderful backdrop to your photographs.

The Olympic Suite is popular not only for sales meeting or presentations but also for product launches and corporate celebrations. For smaller meetings, we have three further rooms, which all afford natural light.

Directions
From the A1 take the A1068 to Alnwick. Follow the signs for the town centre and go through the Bondgate Tower. The Hotel is on the right.
From the Northwest follow the B6341 to Alnwick town centre.
