Accommodation at The Lodge

The Lodge at Winchelsea offers a mixture of double, triple and family rooms, all of them "en suite" and all with flat screen TV's, personal tea/coffee making facilities and wireless broadband connection.

In 2007 eight new ground floor rooms were added and all twenty rooms on the first floor were fully refurbished.

The Lodge Restaurant

This exciting new restaurant is committed to using the finest local produce to create mouth watering dishes - a real taste of Sussex. As it only uses the freshest of seasonal local produce, the Specials Menu changes regularly. By sourcing produce locally where possible, The Lodge at Winchelsea is able to ensure the highest quality and also support their local farmers and growers.

The Lodge at Winchelsea offers a delicious lunchtime carvery every Sunday and Wednesday for only £8.95 with a choice of local meats, a tasty vegetarian or fish alternative and all the trimmings.

Choose from their extensive wine list to accompany your meal.

Functions at The Lodge

The Lodge offers a number of areas to host special events and our marketing manager, Julie Hannah, will be delighted to help you plan for any occasion.

The Restaurant and Piano Bar can comfortably seat 65 for dinner and 100 for a buffet.

If you are looking to host smaller or more intimate parties, or hold meetings, training course or private dinners, there is a separate function room with a private side entrance, wheelchair access and its own covered smoking area.

This facility can accommodate 40 for dining or 60 for a buffet or meeting and has its own cloakroom facilities. It enjoys internal access to The Lodge thus extending the capacity for larger events.

The Lodge at Winchelsea is located on the A259 approximately 3 miles from Rye travelling south-west towards Hastings. As you leave the town of Winchelsea you will find us at the bottom of the hill.
