Wisteria Corner is a Victorian built town terrace that is run as a Bed and Breakfast. The newly built extension to the house provides self-catering accommodation.

Situated only a three minutes walk from the ancient and picturesque town centre of Rye and the Rye train station we are also conveniently located for enjoying the nearby beaches such as Camber Sands, Rye Harbour and Winchelsea Beach, nature reserves, bird watching, beautiful countryside, castles and the many other attractions.

Self Catering Accommodation

We aim to provide you with a high quality, clean, well equipped and comfortale base at an affordable price.
The accommodation includes the provision of a basic breakfast within the unit on a self help basis. (Cereals, tea, coffee, milk, sugar). The unit is ideal for 2 people. The accommodation is a newly built wing to the owner's house, which is run as a Bed and Breakfast. It is double glazed, centrally heated and has its own separate entrance door.

The self catering unit is not part of the English Tourism Council rating scheme.

It comprises of an open plan room with a concertina wall dividing kitchen/dining area and sleeping area and an en-suite shower room with toilet and wash basin. (size of unit approximately 21 square meters)

There is a well equipped Ikea mini kitchen with 2 electric hot plates, microwave with grill, and fridge with freezer compartment, sink, toaster, kettle, table and chairs.

In the sleeping area there are a double bed, and a good quality comfortable folding chair bed, a walk in wardrobe, a colour television, video player and a range of videos.

Usually there is street parking available in the quiet cul de sac "Tillingham Avenue" alongside or very close to the owner's property.

Tariff for the unit depends on the season:

3 days break from £80.00 - £100.00
4 days break from £90.00 - £135.00
5 days break from £100.00 - £170.00
6 days break from £110.00 - £205.00
7 days breakfast from £120.00 - £240.00

The unit is normally let on a weekly basis with change over day on Saturdays. However we are flexible and will be happy to discuss your needs.

Arrival time by arrangement, usually between 4:00pm and 6:00pm
Departure time at 11.00am at the latest.

Payment Method:
Cash or Cheque in pound sterling (£) drawn against a bank with a UK sort code.
A deposit of 20% of the booking price is asked for, which cannot be refunded in case of your cancellation.

How to find us by road:
There are 4 main roads out of Rye. Follow the signposts "B2089" in direction Battle. (Ferry Road is on the B2089). You will come to a level crossing where you can see the Rye train station to your right and the windmill to your left. After you crossed the level crossing you will find us about 100 yards down this road on the right side. "At Wisteria Corner" is at the corner to Tillingham Avenue.

How to find us by train:
When you come out of Rye train station turn right and walk to the level crossing. (You will see a windmill in front of you) Cross the level crossing. You will find us about 100 yards down this road on the right hand side. It is only a 3 minutes walk.
