Built in 1812, this Georgian house is situated in a country lane a mile from the centre of Uttoxeter, a small market town on the Staffordshire/Derbyshire border.

Situated adjacent to the 18-hole Uttoxeter Golf Club and close to Uttoxeter Racecourse we are ideally located for your visit to Alton Towers (20 minutes) or to the Derbyshire Peak District and Staffordshire Moorlands. Derby and Stoke on Trent are also 20 minutes drive.

To find us is easy.
From whichever direction you arrive into Uttoxeter follow the brown "Racecourse" signs which will lead you into Wood Lane. Woodgate House is ½ mile along Wood Lane, on the right hand side opposite a red post box. Turn right and immediately right again into the drive.

From the South East.
Take M1 North to junction 23A. Follow signs for A50 Stoke on Trent until you reach Uttoxeter.

From the South West.
Take M5 north to Birmingham then M6 North to Stafford (south) junction 13. Follow signs into Stafford then A518 to Uttoxeter.

From the North West.
Take M6 South to junction 16 (A500). Follow signs to Stoke on Trent and then A50 Uttoxeter.

From the North East.
Take M1 South to junction 28 (A38). Take direction Derby and then direction Burton on Trent until reaching A50, sign posted Uttoxeter.

We have two very spacious letting rooms, one with en-suite shower facilities and the other with its own private bathroom.

With comfortable beds, colour television, tea and coffee making facilities in both rooms, add to this a hearty breakfast and you are sure of a relaxing stay.

Rooms available from 5pm on day of arrival, vacated by 10am on day of leaving.

Breakfast menu includes fruit juice, tea and coffee, choice of fresh fruit or cereal, toast and preserves. Choice of full English, or Kippers and Scrambled egg, or Staffordshire oatcakes with bacon and cheese or Continental.

¾ day mid week golfing break
