Woodhead Farm Bed and Breakfast, near Penrith, Cumbria.
Woodhead is an idyllic farm set in the beautiful Cumbrian Countryside minutes from Junction 41 of the M6, it has excellent links to the breathtaking Lake District National Park and Gretna Green in the Scottish Borders.
The peaceful, historic market town of Penrith is four miles away with many unique boutiques and gift shops, as well as relaxing coffee shops and cafes. The town's Beacon, castle and churches tell of its turbulent past and involvement in the battle between England and Scotland.
The famous Roman landmark, Hadrian's Wall, is less than one hour away and on the direct route to Northumbria and the rolling Yorkshire Dales.
At Woodhead we keep over 100 Lleyn and Zwarbles breeding ewes, fell ponies, coloured cobs and Old English Game birds. |
 |
 | The farm is surrounded by meadow and pastures overlooking the valleys and fells beyond. The changing seasons offer different moods and experiences to enjoy.
All our rooms have recently been fully refurbished to provide you with the best level of comfort.
