The Hotel

Wood Lodge was built in 1903, and the history of the property is reflected in many of it's defining features. Beautiful cornicing, stunning stained glass windows, and a charming staircase are but a few of what makes the building so enchanting.

The hotel comprises of 15 en-suite bedrooms, some of which have superb views of our award winning gardens. You can enjoy a tipple in our cosy inviting bar, or relax in either one of our two spacious lounges.

Our charming dining room overlooks the garden creating the perfect aspect from which to enjoy a delicious breakfast to prepare you for your day.

In the evening it is ideal for a candlelit home cooked meal with soft easy listening music.

Bedrooms

We have 5 double rooms, 4 twin rooms, 3 triple rooms, 1 family room, and 2 singles.

Our rooms are situated over only 2 floors, with 3 rooms (a single, a twin, and a triple) on the ground floor.

All of our bedrooms are en-suite except for one single which has it's own private bathroom.

We pride ourselves on meticulously high standards of cleaning, and your comfort is of the greatest importance to us.

In your room you will find a remote controlled colour television, alarm clock radio, generous hospitality tray, high quality bathroom products, a hairdryer, a shaving point, and lovely white fluffy towels.

Finding Us

Coming into Bournemouth from the A338,
continue past the Hurn airport turn off and the next flyover,
which will take you on to the Wessex Way.
At the first roundabout (you will see Asda and the train/coach station to your left) take the first exit left.
At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit straight on.
Next roundabout 2nd exit straight on again.
First left will take you on to Manor Road.
We are on the left, opposite the first road you see on your right.
