Attractions
Ye Olde Red Lion is within walking distance of The Iron Clock, built in 1859 by Charles Jordan of Newport. The 72ft high clock is a symbolic reminder of Tredegar's rich Industrial past.
Bedwellty House, a Grade 2 Listed building not far from the town centre, is probably the finest example of an Ironmaster's house in Gwent.
Tredegar is located in the north west of the Borough of Blaenau Gwent - home of the 1992 National Garden Festival. It is within easy traveling distance of many historical sites and places of outstanding natural beauty.

The Brecon Beacons National Park covers over 500 square miles, including the Black Mountains, Usk Valley and Clydach Gorge.
