Yew Tree House offers 4 Star Bed and Breakfast accommodation throughout the year. The house was built in the 1690's with Victorian and Edwardian additions and the old stables have been converted into ground floor rooms with easy access.
Just 15 minutes drive from Junction 22 of the M5, the house is situated on a quiet lane within walking distance of the beach. It is ideally located for visitors wishing to explore the coast, the Mendips and the Quantocks and also provides peaceful accommodation for business travellers.
The bedrooms are all en-suite, comfortable and spacious, with all modern requirements including full central heating, colour television and tea and coffee making facilities. The house has plenty of onsite parking and our guests are welcome to relax in our gardens or guest lounge.
A freshly cooked full English Breakfast or Continental Breakfast is served every morning in the breakfast room. We regularly serve vegetarian breakfasts and are happy to cater for other dietary requirements. |
Accommodation
I am Anne Fox and my husband John and I bought Yew Tree House in May 2006. The property had been a 4 star bed and breakfast for many years and we bought it with the intention of continuing to provide a friendly, comfortable and clean bed and breakfast for our guests.
The first part of the house was built in the 1690's and it has Victorian and Edwardian additions. All the rooms are spacious and individually decorated to enhance the age and features of each room. We looked at many properties and felt that Yew Tree House was exactly what we were looking for. When we arrived Yew Tree House had four letting rooms in the main house, we have developed the stables to provide 2 additional rooms which have been built and furnished to the same standard as the rest of the house.
I run the business with the help of two ladies Edwina and Lizzie and my family. John helps at weekends and my four adult sons and their partners help when they are here and able to.
